Walking through Olympic National Park

I've never seen a rain forest before. I certainly didn't expect to find one outside the tropics. Olympic National Park is certainly a special spot. We managed to explore the rain forest on a sunny day, and then the very next day we were above the snow line.

It was a good day for a walk through the woods. Michele and I both enjoyed the chance to explore the Hoh Rain Forest Trail.

EVERYTHING was green. The fungus, ferns, and ??? were everywhere.

And there was plenty of water.

• A creek flowing down off the valley wall.
• The Hoh River
• Another creek
• Lots of moss on the "Hall of Mosses" trail.

The whole pennisula was wonderful.
